After I had my son, Evan, I really didn't want to go back to work full-time, yet I needed an additional source of
income in addition to my husband's salary. My husband and I designed our son's birth announcement, and everyone
liked it so much that we decided it might be a neat idea to create custom birth announcements for other parents.
We began to experiment with magnetic birth announcements, trying different magnetic sheeting thicknesses and
substrates until we got the quality we wanted. Thus began Peekaboo Designs.
Three years later and Peekaboo Designs is still going strong. Averaging over 350,000 visitors each year,
we're now getting many repeat customers and also new customers from overseas. We've added exciting new products like our
Photo Magnet Greeting Cards and
Photo Calendar Magnets and continue
to expand and improve on our unique line of custom photo magnet products.
On June 29, 2003, Nathalie gave birth to Emily Madison. Emily was born at
3:06am, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and she was 20 3/4 inches long. We even designed a new birth announcement
to celebrate the arrival our our Emily.
